Moving Beyond Survival
Healing Doesn’t Happen in Isolation
Healing happens in the context of safe, supportive relationships. My goal is to create a space where you feel at ease - comfortable enough to share what's weighing on you, what enlivens you, and the changes you'd like to see in your life. My therapeutic approach is informed by several modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Attachment-Based Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I work with young adults, college students and adults struggling with anxiety, grief, life transitions, post-traumatic stress and abuse recovery.
Because our physical bodies hold emotional pain and trauma, I aim to help you find relief within, so that your orientation toward your pain can begin to shift and loosen. I hope to support you in discovering and articulating your boundaries, honoring your limits, and building tools that help you relate to pain and the many parts of yourself with greater care. By working with the soma (body) and the emotional and physical experiences it holds, we can foster insight, cultivate meaning, and move toward healing and relief.

My Approach
-

Somatic Experiencing
A focus on the mind-body connection, helping you regulate your nervous system and gently release stored stress and trauma by increasing your awareness of physical sensations.
-

Mindfulness
By paying attention to your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment, mindfulness can help reduce stress and deepen your connection to yourself.
-

Internal Family Systems
An approach that helps you better understand the different parts of yourself and meet them with greater compassion, recognizing that even protective parts have good intentions. IFS can help you develop greater self-awareness, inner harmony, confidence, and a stronger sense of inner leadership.
